From the entrance gate you follow a tree-lined to reach the villa. The outdoor areas consist of: a luxuriant Italian garden, a garden of olive trees and a private swimming pool, surrounded by greenery and equipped with parasol and sunbeds.
At guests’ disposal also an outdoor dining table and a barbecue for tasty alfresco grills. From the long balcony that runs along the façade of the villa, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside.
Please note that the owner also manages some apartments and a Bnb that are located near the villa. Villa Giardino has a private garden and swimming pool for the exclusive use. Guests of the villa can also access the common, adjacent areas of the property (such as the restaurant for breakfast, etc.).
Attractions
Villa Giardino is situated halfway between Florence and Siena, in the beautiful region of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages, from the nearby Panzano to Greve, from Castellina to Radda.
The nearest town is San Donato in Poggio, a charming medieval village situated in a panoramic position just 2 km from the villa that offers some useful services to our guests such as a small supermarket, some shops and several restaurants and pizzerias. A private transfer / car rental from San Donato in Poggio is highly recommended to reach the property, because the public transport doesn’t offer a frequent and constant service.
The property’s municipality is Barberino Val d’Elsa, a lovely village that in 2003 was awarded the Orange flag by the Italian Touring Club, for beauty and promotion of cultural heritage, environmental protection, culture of hospitality, quality of catering and local products. Here you will find, in fact, excellent restaurants and wine cellars, that will fill your holiday also in terms of culinary delights.
Moreover Barberino Val d’Elsa is the ideal starting point both for day trips to Florence and Siena, and for reaching other charming Chianti villages (such as Greve, Panzano, Castellina, Radda) or medieval villages of Tuscany countryside (like San Gimignano, Certaldo, Monteriggioni, Volterra).
