Villa Lucca – Farmhouse is a 12th-century farmhouse positioned amongst the hills of Lucca and enjoys wonderful views over the valley. There is a restaurant where you can enjoy local dishes and hand-made cheeses, winners of numerous awards nationwide, on-site.
12 km from Lucca, the property belonged to the famous English director David Lean (“Dr. Zivago”, “War and Peace”) who fell in love with the fabulous landscape that stretches across the valley of Lucca to the hills of Pisa where the sea is seen. The farmhouse has been renovated to accommodate 10 people and can be rented for both a single group and as independent units. Owners are at guests’ disposal to accompany customers interested in MTB or off-road excursions to discover the medieval hamlets in the area.
The Villa consists of two separate areas that can accommodate up to 10 people and can be rented either for a single group or as an independent unit. The main house (8 beds max) has 4 bright bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and a living room. The oldest part of the house, which dates back to the 12th century, has 2 beds in a romantic room with fireplace, seating area with kitchenette, bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Each part of the cottage has its independence and privacy.
At the end of a day spent on mountain biking or walking on the numerous paths from the property, we offer a relaxing sauna, all accompanied by the benefits of the herbal teas and scents of our organic herbs.
Villa Lucca also have a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.
