Villa Al Mare – Coastline Home Decor
Villa Al Mare is located 10 km away from the sea on the Maremma coastline. The home design approached with research in the historical context results in a new-classic style with custom, white-painted wooden boards, and resin floors, wood-beamed ceilings that lend a rustic feel to the interiors. Elements of classic Italian residential architecture, such as bright views from most sides and light-filled living areas, are combined with contemporary touches, like its indoor gym. Aesthetically, the house recalls traditional typologies, for instance, the garden with a commanding vista over the countryside or the travertine marble used in the kitchen and some of the bathrooms — as well as traditional materials, including marble, stucco walls, and locally sourced stone. A contemporary influence, however, was the decision to pave floors with resin. Contemporary yet very comfortable, this is a chic retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe, blending traditional and modern Tuscan architecture.
